protection so that our future generations will be spared the suffering caused
by all forms of abuse and human trafficking. We want to ensure that anyone who has been silenced knows that they are
silenced no more.

Sexual assault: is a statutory, criminal offense. It is an act in
which a person knowingly forces or threatens another person to engage in
unwanted sexual acts. "Most states have replaced the common law definition of rape with
statutes defining sexual assault."
Psychological abuse: also referred to as emotional or mental abuse, is when a person subjects or exposes another to
behavior that may result in psychological trauma, including anxiety, chronic
depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder.
Human trafficking: the trade in
humans, most commonly for the purpose of sexual slavery, forced labor the extraction of organs or tissues, including
surrogacy and ova removal.
